Grind green moong dal, ginger, green chilli, black pepper, fresh coriander, spinach, heeng, chaat masala, salt (half quantity) to make a fine paste.
Add water to make slightly runny consistency.
In another bowl mix onion, tomato, carrot and salt (remaining half quantity) and keep aside, so that veggies can leach out extra water.
Mix dal batter and veggies, adjust seasonings.
Make 2-3 chilla's on greased tawa. Serve with chutney.
