Dates are another key component to this recipe, and the healthy benefits of dates are numerous. They are not only high in fiber and iron but they have a number of antioxidants such as flavonoids – which help with inflammation in the body, Carotenoids – which are great for your heart and eyes, and phenolic acid – which is another antioxidant that helps with inflammation and fighting off disease. Dates are also great for bone health and .They are such a great natural sweetener.

Chia seeds for an extra punch of omega & fiber!

It’s naturally sweetened due to the dates and it literally tastes like a dessert and it’s actually GOOD for you because there is NO added sweeteners! So it's safe for diabetic patients as well.

Ingredients
 Frozen/ ripe banana (केला)- 150 gm= 1 ½ (medium size)
 Almonds (बादाम)- 10 in no. = 15 gm (soaked & peeled)
 Cashew- 10 in no. (soaked)
 Dried figs/ dates (सूखे अंजीर)- 2 in no.= 15 gm
 Green cardamom powder (हरी इलायची पाउडर)- 1 pinch
 Cinnamon powder- a pinch
 Chia seeds (चिया बीज)- ½ tsp (soaked)
 Water (पानी)- 100 ml
 Sundried berries for garnishing
Method
1

In a blender jar add frozen banana, peeled almonds, soaked figs and green cardamom powder.

Pour 100 ml chilled water and blend until smooth.

Pour in a large serving glass.

Mix soaked chia/ sabja seeds and serve immediately
